Installation and Setup

Once your AT&T DSL Service is installed you'll be ready to experience the high-speed Internet world of AT&T DSL Service! Be sure to visit our complete list of DSL FAQs.

There are two installation options available:

Self Installation

The installation kit provides the tools you need to install your AT&T DSL Service. It includes:

  • Installation CD
  • 3-Step installation guide
  • Troubleshooting guide
  • Modem
  • DSL Blockers

If you are self-installing your kit, install it as soon as it arrives so you can begin using your AT&T DSL Service!

Service will begin automatically when you complete the installation process and you will be billed beginning that date.

If you need installation support, please call 1-866-596-8455.

Professional Installation

If you have requested professional installation, we will schedule an appointment for a technician to complete the set up of your service (please keep the installation kit available because the technician will need the equipment to complete your service installation).

AT&T Worldnet(R) Service and Covad have teamed up to bring you the DSL Internet access you want, and on the day of your appointment will send a Covad technician to set up your service and equipment.

This appointment will typically take about two hours. The technician will make sure your AT&T DSL Service is working properly and will answer all of your questions before leaving.
