Support for Apple Macintosh, and multiple computers

(Article RQ96100)

Can I access AT&T DSL Service through multiple computers?

You can purchase a DSL Networking Router and connect up to four computers to AT&T DSL Service. AT&T DSL Service does not support the use of the service through multiple computers.

You'll need to purchase a DSL Networking Router that will allow you to connect to AT&T DSL Service through another computer, through your DSL modem. DSL Networking Routers can be purchased from computer electronic stores.

AT&T DSL Service technical support does not support Networking Routers.

Technical installation support is generally available from the Networking Router's manufacturer. Check the manufacturer's packaging materials or Web site for contact information.

I'm using an Apple Macintosh computer. How do I get help with AT&T DSL Service?

AT&T DSL Service support representatives do not provide technical support for configuration or installation to Macintosh users.

For assistance with e-mail set up, newsgroup set up, and browser configuration, Macintosh users should visit Worldnet User's Reference Desk (WURD).

If you are already an AT&T DSL customer, or you are an AT&T Worldnet(R) Service dial-up user, you can get assistance in our worldnet.help.dsl newsgroup.
